Yoga Guru Deelu Lama is a Grand Master of Yoga, a spiritual teacher, philosopher, public speaker, philanthropist, and Buddhist healer. He is also the Founder of RISHIYOUG Yoga.
From a young age, he immersed himself in the study of Vedic texts and rituals, laying the foundation of his spiritual path. He underwent five years of rigorous training in yoga at a Gurukul in Haridwar, after which he continued his yoga journey in Chennai and Mysuru.
With over 15 years of deep yoga research and practice, Guru Deelu Lama traveled to Vrindavan and Mayapur, where he studied under many great spiritual masters, further enriching his wisdom. Alongside yoga, he also studied Ayurveda and traditional healing systems from a very young age, beginning his journey in 1997 in the rural parts of North-East India.
His dedication led him to open a yoga school, and later, he moved to Karnataka (Bengaluru), where he taught at Akshar Yoga. There, he began working with people suffering from sickness and emotional imbalances, using Ayurveda, Yoga Therapy, Healing practices, Panchakarma, and Shatkriya to restore balance and health.
Guru Deelu Lama’s vision has always been to make yoga accessible to all. He believes that while everyone faces inner struggles, yoga is the path that helps one discover their true purpose and higher goals in life.
His mission: To ensure that every individual not only learns yoga but also lives yoga - elevating themselves and others through this timeless practice.
